name plates, custom!

Recently ran some custom name plates for a customer, turned out to be quite a process! the customer wanted the plates powdercoated and engraved. Being up for a challenge, I decided to pick up a powder coating kit and give it a try.
Powder coating wasn't too hard, but getting good adhesion was not easy and is best left to the pro's. I found that curing the parts required at least twice the amount of time (oh, and powder!) I anticipated.
Anyhow, always up for new challenges, and I think I have figured out the powder process, but think that I would prefer to leave the painting to the pros!  ha ha...
